XML Sitemaps

XML-Sitemaps.com builds a search engine ready sitemap for Google and Bing in a click: enter an address, let it crawl, and download the file. It is free for smaller sites and needs no registration. Beyond the standard XML file it handles image, video, news and HTML sitemaps and RSS feeds, and a sitemap validator is included. Users report that it surfaced broken links they had not known about, and a broken links check is among its tools. Small utilities for webmasters include a search engine bot simulator and an HTTP headers viewer. A paid ProSitemaps service and a generator script extend it. A sitemap placed on the server lets crawlers like Google see which pages exist and how they are organized.
